Consultations are our way to get to know you, your goals, and any other important information you would like to share with us so that we can design your unique fitness program. We are not judgmental. We consider your nutritional habits, of course, but we are most concerned with what drives these habits. To do this, we examine what most effects your stress and recovery. As we go, we will share with you the principles of fitness and wellness that we believe most relevant to your needs and goals.
We will also tell you what we would recommend as a safe and effective fitness design. We are confident that our common-sense approach to fitness will be so practical that this will convince you that we are the right choice for you. Once you tell us that you are "all in," we select your preferred training schedule and routine. From this, we will set a date and time for your first session. This session will consist primarily of a range of motion check, blood pressure check, health history check, and a few other simple things important to choose the correct starting point to match your ability.
After your first session, you can expect to be a little sore, but this should be slight and only last for about 24 hours. If you expect workouts that leave you unable to walk for a week, we will be sure to disappoint you. We consider that a sure sign of overtraining.
The cost of our sessions are fixed. We do not have contracts that lock you in for months on end. Payments are made monthly by check or cash, so you are in control of your own payments.
